Sheila Corpuz
Growing up in Laoag City in Northern Philippines, Shine
and Glow CEO Sheila Corpuz learned the importance of hard
work early on.
The youngest of five children
Sheila comes from a hard-working farming family where from
a young age she was taken by her mother to the market with
her siblings to help sell produce. From that early
experience, Sheila was exposed to entrepreneurial and
business skills. Her hard work mentality comes from her
late father who she saw work hard to provide for his large
family while also encouraging his children to get an
education and care for their family and community.
Observing her parents in that cultural setting gifted her
with the insight and the drive to eventually become an
entrepreneur herself. She gives credit to her parents for
encouraging her creativity and giving her the motivation
to dream big.
Sheila moved to Vancouver,
British Columbia in 2001 with a diploma in Management
Accounting from the Philippines. In her new home, Sheila
was able to make use of her skills and life experience and
studied Business Administration at Capilano College. She
went back to her entrepreneurial roots and founded Shine
and Glow. Her vision is to make life better for her valued
customers by providing them with a clean environment in
which to work and live. Sheila enjoys spending time with
family and close friends doing things as simple as having
a picnic or going for a hike.

A strong woman and an entrepreneur. She left her country to help her family and work abroad in her teenage years. She has over 35 years of experience in the janitorial industry. She raises her child as a single mother. She is very helpful and friendly. She enjoys planting flowers and vegetables.
Joel is a father of 2 boys. He came to Canada to join his family in 2011. He is hardworking and reliable. He not only does a great job at cleaning but is also a talented handyman. He enjoys cooking and spending time with his family and friends during his spare time.
From the Philippines. She is a mom who is hardworking and trustworthy. She consider herself a Proficient housekeeper with over one year of professional cleaning experience in residential homes. Highly organized, efficient, and a hard worker. Enjoy the outdoors and spend time with family and friends.
She have been working in janitorial services for
almost 12 years. She is very responsible,
hardworking, trustworthy, and very friendly.
